 At the Loading DockI saw the symphony the other day
I didnt buy a ticket, i just saw em
Unloading cellos and bassoons
From a truck.
Asked the guy if he was a careful driver.
He said:
Not even if they pay extra.
Nah he really said something else
Or ignored me
Or called me a “weird faggit”
Or slipped his number into my pocket
Or something. Or everything.
Or he wasnt there at all.
Maybe it was “Large Marge”
and I chastised her for being
too much of an 80s reference.
And maybe she told me
“That was just a role.
Im actually someone’s grandmother”
And maybe I felt bad.
Maybe I should buy a ticket
to this symphony and look
to see if anyone is playing
a broken viola or a punctured
timpani and maybe someone else
is playing the oboe that punctured it.
Maybe this is all some sort of aleatory thing.
